My Weight Gain Story
My journey towards weight management began after the birth of my second child when I started gaining significant weight. Over the years, I tried multiple diet plans, Including enrolling in renowned diet programs such as Anjali Mukherjee’s, where I successfully lost around 20 kg.
However, Like many others, I faced the challenge of sustaining my weight loss. Each time I followed a structured diet plan or an exercise regimen, I saw results, only to reach a plateau where progress slowed, And motivation dwindled.
My weight loss journey was further disrupted when I developed a severe case of herpes in my eye, Which led to hospitalization. This health setback caused me to lose track of my dietary discipline and regain the lost weight.

I was also facing some personal problems, Which were adding to my stress.
How was FFD introduced and why did I choose to join it?
Amidst these struggles, my brother Sunil Shetye, Who had experienced a remarkable transformation through FFD, introduced me to the program. Having undergone open-heart surgery in the past, He had been dependent on medications, But after joining FFD, He became completely medicine-free. Inspired by his journey and the visible benefits he experienced, I decided to enroll in the program.
My Weight Loss & Inner Transformation Story
The FFD team studied my case in detail and designed a tailor-made plan. Before joining FFD, I made some efforts to control my diet on my own, Which helped me reduce my weight from 106 kg to around 100-101 kg.
However, I soon hit a plateau and couldn’t make further progress. It was only after enrolling in FFD that I managed to break through this barrier, Bringing my weight down to 97.2 kg. In total, I’ve lost about 9 kg — with 4 kg of that achieved after joining FFD.

I could have progressed faster with stricter adherence, But I'm pleased with my improvements. Exercise remains challenging as I'm not naturally athletic, But the FFD team has shown me that even once-weekly workouts matter.
