My Diabetes Story
I was diagnosed with diabetes in 2017. At the time, my HbA1c levels had soared to 14, Prompting immediate medical intervention. The condition was discovered during a routine medical checkup, Though I had already started experiencing classic symptoms like excessive thirst, Frequent urination, and a burning sensation while urinating. Concerned about my health, I underwent further tests, Which confirmed the diagnosis.
Despite having no family history of diabetes, I found myself struggling with not only high blood sugar levels but also cholesterol irregularities. My sedentary job, Which kept me indoors for long hours, Along with a lack of dietary restrictions, Contributed to both my weight gain and health issues. At my heaviest, I weighed 104 kg and knew I had to make a change.
How was FFD introduced and why did I choose to join it?
It was a colleague who introduced me to Freedom from Diabetes (FFD), an initiative designed to help individuals reverse diabetes and adopt a healthier lifestyle. Motivated by the prospect of regaining my health and shedding excess weight, I decided to enroll in the program. My primary goal was clear: to reverse diabetes and become free from medication.
