My Diabetes Story
I was diagnosed with diabetes nearly 25 years ago, in 1999, During a routine medical checkup when elevated sugar levels and high HbA1c readings were detected. Over time, I experienced common diabetic symptoms like fatigue, excessive thirst, and weakness. Additionally, my health was further complicated by a history of comorbidities, including heart surgery.
How was FFD introduced?
My major source of information about FFD was Facebook.
What made me choose FFD?
I never liked being on medicines. FFD was offering hope so I enrolled in its type 2 diabetes reversal program HTP.

Reversal Story
My initial HbA1c was 11.6, but after joining the Freedom from Diabetes (FFD) program, I brought it down to around 9. Remarkably, I became Insulin-free within a month, With a significant reduction in my diabetic medication, Though I still take a lower dose under medical supervision.
Weight loss has been a key part of my journey. Thanks to fasting and eliminating dairy, I went from 70.4 kg to a stable 63-64 kg. I now monitor my food intake carefully, As I believe insulin use and an unrestricted diet contributed to my earlier weight gain.
Despite improvements, My fasting blood sugar still fluctuates. High morning levels tend to keep my sugars elevated throughout the day, But my overall condition is much better. By sticking to FFD protocols, I hope to achieve more stability.
Walking is my main exercise, though previous hip joint surgery limits certain activities like cycling and floor exercises. I’ve tried lightweight training but struggle with consistency. A structured routine works best for me.
For Inner transformation, I attended a Dr. Yati Shah's session, which I found beneficial but couldn't follow up on due to personal reasons. I practice nitric oxide dump a few times a week and try to manage stress, Though recent family challenges have disrupted my routine. Still, I remain committed to my medications, walking, and mindful eating.
Overall, it has been a wonderful journey.
