Dhuska Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Brown Rice (Soaked overnight)

  • 1 Cup Split Bengal Gram/ Chana Dal (Soaked overnight)

  • ½ Inch Ginger

  • 2 Green Chilli

  • ¼ Tsp Turmeric Powder

  • Salt to taste

  • Oil for shallow frying          

Method

  • Grind rice and dal along with ginger, green chili, cumin, salt, and turmeric powder into a smooth paste.

  • Heat the pan.

  • Smear it with 1 tsp oil.

  • Pour a tablespoon of batter into the pan and spread it.

  • Pour 1 tsp oil around it.

  • Fry till golden on both sides.

  • Serve Dhuska hot with chutney.
