Hello all,
I am Venkata Ratnam Velivela, an ex-army person from Vijaywada, Andhra Pradesh.

My diabetes story

Neither of my parents suffer from diabetes but few relatives from my maternal side do have this condition. A medical checkup that was done while taking treatment for typhoid disclosed I had diabetes, cholesterol, and thyroid issues.

My overall immunity had weakened. I experienced sudden weight loss. There was a feeling of intermittent anger. I had also fallen a few times without knowing the reason.

One more point I would like to point out is that I have a habit of overthinking. Don't know but this could be the root cause of some issues.

How did FFD happen?

For starters, day by day my medicines kept increasing. I had also seen my uncle suffer from the disorder. There was a strong urge to become medicine free before the stage of going on insulin. I came across FFD while browsing the internet.
