My Diabetes Story
It was during my pregnancy (2017), I was diagnosed with impaired glucose tolerance (IGT). The news terrified me as I had witnessed my father struggle with the condition. After giving birth, I avoided checking my blood sugar levels, except for a fasting blood test done for LIC term insurance, which came back normal.
Over time, I continued avoiding any sugar tests, fearful of discovering elevated levels. However, in March 2024, SRL had a discount package, and my mother suggested we both get tested to take advantage of the couple discount. It was then that I discovered my HbA1c was 6.7.
Clinical practice, challenges in personal life like child's care and studies had contributed to this largely.
Now, I feel I did not have enough knowledge about many things - like what to eat, what not etc, I never took medicine. One thing was certain: I wanted to come out of this situation.
How was FFD Introduced?
One day my friend told me that you can browse on Youtube where I can find many options to control sugar. There I found Dr Tripathi's video.
What made me choose FFD?
I never liked being on medicines. FFD was offering hope so I enrolled in its annual program HTP.

Reversal Story
My case was meticulously examined by the team assigned to me, and they developed a personalized plan based on their findings. As I began to follow the plan, I saw positive results.
Soon my sugars began falling in place which was great news. My HbA1c improved from 6.7 to 5.1.
My weight loss from 77 kg to 63.8 kg has been amazing. Now people are asking me for weight loss tips.
My SGPT , SGOT , alkaline phosphatase which were a little high are all absolutely normal.
The icing on the cake has been me clearing the IGT successfully. I am sure I will clear GTT one day.
Thanks to all the knowledge on diet, portion size, importance of exercising regularly and keeping mentally calm.
