My diabetes story

I got herpes in lockdown two years ago. My doctor decided to check for diabetes. This is how my diabetes was diagnosed. Yes, I have a family history of diabetes. My mother was diabetic. I did not face any problems as such but didn't want to end up with problems that diabetics face.

How did FFD happen?

My brother who got diabetes at 40 had joined FFD. His progress was very impressive.  I thought coming to FFD would give me clarity on how I should deal with it.

 Why did I choose FFD?

Joining FFD has been my best-ever decision.  It has increased my awareness regarding diabetes and guided me on what different things I do to help me keep it in check.

My diabetes medicines have come down to half and I hope to become medicine free soon. My weight loss of 6 kg has been amazing.

Backache story 

My exercise expert helped with my backache problem. Normally one would not go to the doctor for a bit of back ache but talking to her and doing specific exercises recommended by her helped in this too. Surprisingly I have not had back aches for the last so many months. I would like to choose the athletic identity of a gymmer.
