How I went from 95 to 68.5 kg

I am 63 years young ...but feel like I am an in-the-30s businessman - All due to FFD Diabetes Reversal Program! Age cannot be reversed, but it is not true. FFD has proved that with proper direction, support and efforts, one can achieve true fitness as in your younger days.
I am Hemant Parasrampuria, a business owner from Mumbai. Family history-wise, my father had a heart attack about 60 years back, and had a stent put about 30 years back. Mom was diabetic and had high BP too.
It was during a routine medical check-up in 2008 that I got to know I was diabetic. I must have been 49 years old then. Being a business owner is definitely stressful but I could handle it. So it is difficult to find out the reason why I got it.
When I got my initial tests done in the 1st week of June, I had also consulted my family doctor. After seeing the reports, she bluntly put it that I was sitting on a bomb. This really worried both me and my wife a lot. The rest is how it is...I joined FFD.
My other problems were anxiety, hypertension, hypothyroid, weight gain, constipation, back pain, etc. The main concerns were excess weight and high sugars. One day I was watching a webinar of the physician's committee where Dr. Pramod Tripathi was a guest speaker. His speech on diabetes reversal was highly inspiring.
I had decided to go step-by-step and hence first attended the online session of Dr. Pramod Tripathi himself. He gave us an overview of how diabetes reversal needs to be approached, which was great.

By that time, it was very clear that my health demanded some time from me. Nothing was going to happen overnight. I soon joined HTP batch 71 with the aim of becoming free from diabetes and excess weight.
It has been an excellent and amazing journey at FFD. The 4 protocols - diet, exercise, inner transformation, and medical have done wonders. I am free of diabetes medicines. I have lost oodles of weight coming here.
To share the exact number, I had lost 30 kg but have gained back about 3.5, so currently I am about 68.5 kg which is a great achievement for me. I am probably as fit as I was in my 20s-30s.
Not only that, my thyroid and BP medicines have been reduced by about 50 percent or so.I do follow the only dal items regime for breakfast strictly as far as possible.
My exercise regimen consists of 2 hours of purely cardio exercise on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. While on Tuesdays and Thursdays I workout for 1.15 hours out of which 20/30 min are cardio and dumbells weight training both for the upper and lower body.
Saturdays, earlier I used to do about 45 min of yoga and about 20 min of cardio. Nowadays, I have been doing cardio only. I do intend to start back Surya namaskars and pushups and planks again in the evenings.
My new goals are I want to do the dream run and also 108 suryanamaskars, jump up steps both feet at a time, go climbing to Vaishno Devi and maybe beyond later, ski in the coming winters...For that, I have to get fit and stay fit.
My motivators were my wife, Dr. Pramod Tripathi, my app doctor, Dr. Smita, my dietician Sneha and my exercise expert Dr. Aditi Joshi. You can say I was lucky to have been guided by them. I just hope to keep this momentum going.
I feel excellent and in good health overall, possibly fitter than ever. I would be honored if my journey is considered as one of the motivational success stories of FFD.
