My Diabetes Story
In 2019, my blood work showed that I had diabetes, which was concerning. History-wise, some of my siblings also have the condition. I started taking medication to manage my blood sugar levels, but it was a tough pill to swallow.
On top of that, I'd been dealing with hypertension since 2008, and my cholesterol levels became a problem in 2023.
Weight was another issue—I was on the heavier side, and despite my efforts, I couldn't seem to lose it. This added to my stress, as I was eager to shed those extra pounds.

I learned about it through my husband.
What made me choose FFD?
I never liked being on medicines and wanted to lose weight. FFD was offering hope so I enrolled in FFD's annual program - HTP.

Within three months, I was able to stop taking my diabetes medications. My HbA1c levels improved from 6.5 to 6.

I've transitioned to a vegan diet.
