Hello all,
I'm Mrs Kalyani Narayanan, Retired from PNB (Punjab National Bank).
My diabetes story
In January 2012, I received a diabetes diagnosis due to persistent cold and cough symptoms that wouldn't subside. I was prescribed lifelong medication, which I strongly disliked.
Family history wise both my mother and mother-in-law also faced diabetes.
Despite experimenting with various alternative treatments, none proved successful. Recognizing the potential escalation of my medication to insulin over time, I was determined to find an alternative solution.
How was FFD introduced?
I was introduced to FFD by a friend, and I watched all the videos. The video featuring Dr. B M Hegde, whom I greatly admire, left a lasting impression on me.
What made me choose FFD?
I never liked being on medicines and wanted to avoid future complications. FFD was offering hope. As soon as I came back to India, I registered myself for the 78th HTP batch of FFD.

Reversal story
Joining FFD has been the most rewarding decision, and I have no regrets whatsoever. My health showed improvement from the very first day, and within six months of being part of FFD, I successfully discontinued my medication.
While weight was never a concern, my HbA1c levels significantly improved.
In terms of physical activity, I incorporate 108 Surya Namaskars into most of my days, along with additional exercises and meditation whenever time allows. Zumba, a childhood passion, became a delightful addition, bringing back fond memories.

Having successfully cleared IGT in 2022 and GTT in 2023 through diligent efforts, I continue to adhere to the FFD diet and exercise regimen. While I occasionally deviate during festivals and weddings, I predominantly stick to my vegan diet, focusing on millets.
At 68, I am determined to bring my HbA1c to 5.6 and achieve a non-diabetic status.
