My Diabetes Story
An alarming incident happened in 2000 when I fainted at work. The doctors found my glucose levels were higher than they should be, and from that moment, My life changed. There is a family history with this condition with my mother suffering from it. I accepted the reality quickly.
I tried to manage my condition with medicines but the results were frustratingly minimal. I never achieved the control I hoped for and my doctor suggested I go on insulin as the last resort. It was a wake-up call. When the doctor said I had reached the highest potency of medication and that insulin was the only option left, I was devastated. It felt like I was losing control over my life.
Additionally, I have been facing challenges with cholesterol and BP.
How was FFD introduced?
Just as it seemed that my battle with diabetes was becoming overwhelming, I found a spark of hope. Through social media, Specifically Twitter (now X), I discovered the Freedom from Diabetes (FFD) program. Intrigued and desperate for a change, I decided to give it a try.
What made me choose FFD?
I never liked being on medicines. FFD was offering hope so I enrolled in the annual program HTP.

Reversal Story
The FFD team studied my case thoroughly and designed a tailor-made plan. The transformation began almost immediately. Within just a few days of starting the program, my insulin was taken off. I couldn’t believe it. In less than a week, I was seeing changes.
My medications also drastically reduced, and within a short period, I was down to only a fraction of the medication I once relied on. I now take just half a tablet. From being fully dependent on insulin, I am almost free of medicine. My HbA1c improved from 7.5 to 6.7.
My weight loss has been around 7-8 kg. I lost weight, Gained energy, And felt more active. People started noticing the changes, and I feel like a new person.
My journey was not just about overcoming diabetes—it was about regaining my freedom.
