My Diabetes Story
I was surprised to discover my diabetes. Unlike many who notice symptoms before diagnosis, I had no prior signs of the condition. It was only after COVID-19, during a routine checkup, that I was diagnosed.
With no family history of diabetes, the news was even more unexpected. I never experienced any major health complications.
How was FFD introduced and why did I choose to join it?
A friend introduced me to the program when I was struggling to bring structure and routine to my lifestyle. Though wasn’t facing any severe health issues, I felt something was off and wanted to take control of my health before things worsened.
My main goal was to regain a sense of order in my daily life—Something I found difficult to do on my own. I wanted a structured plan that would not only help me manage my diabetes but also instill discipline in my health choices. That’s when I decided to join FFD.
Reversal Story
One of the most remarkable aspects of my journey was how quickly I became medicine-free after joining FFD. Within just 10 to 15 days, I was completely off diabetes medication—an incredible achievement after being diabetic for nearly five years. This swift transformation reinforced my belief that with the right lifestyle changes, diabetes could be managed without medication.
Staying Active and Managing Weight Fluctuations
Physical activity plays a crucial role in managing diabetes, and I made a conscious effort to stay active despite my demanding profession. Walking became my primary form of exercise, and whenever I had time off from work, I also engaged in light exercises.
However, unlike many struggling with weight gain due to diabetes, I faced the opposite challenge—unexpected weight loss. When I first started following FFD’s fitness routine, my weight dropped suddenly by 4 to 5 kg. The drastic weight loss made it difficult for me to maintain a healthy balance.
At one point, regaining the lost weight felt like a challenge, but after consulting with FFD doctors, I was advised to reduce stair climbing and adjust my fiber intake. Gradually, I stabilized and started gaining back some weight. Now, after months of effort, I have successfully brought my weight back up to 54 kg, a number I am comfortable with.

Perhaps my biggest achievement has been the drastic improvement in my HbA1c levels. Before joining FFD, my HbA1c was at a dangerously high 9.8, indicating poorly controlled diabetes. But thanks to my commitment to the program, My latest test showed a reading of 6.0, Bringing me much closer to a non-diabetic range.
This remarkable reduction proves how effective lifestyle modifications can be in reversing diabetes. I proudly acknowledge that FFD gave me the guidance and motivation needed to bring my health back on track.
A Renewed Sense of Confidence and Control
Looking back on my experience with Freedom from Diabetes, I can truly say it has been a wonderful journey. The biggest takeaway for me has been the ability to regain control over my life and establish a sustainable routine.
