FFD gave me a new identity
I have acquired a new identity recently. My name is Sanjeev Tanksali from Pune, a retired HR professional having vast experience across industries and
now a freelance soft skills trainer and consultant.
But my new identity is of a young fitness freak, who at age 62, has run several 10 km and 21 km marathons. Yes, this is my new identity!
In 2000 I was 44 when I learned that I was suffering from Diabetes. Over a period of time, I had been prescribed all kinds of medicines but in vain.
For a long, I was keen to get rid of this disease. I tried everything under the sun – Ayurveda, and Allopathy, #YOGA, and Pranayam but met with little or no success.
I was consuming 2500 mg of medicines (essentially metformin) every day. I was sick and tired of consuming such a heavy dosage of drugs on a daily basis.
In 2016 one of my close relatives told me about diabetes specialist Dr. Pramod Tripathi and FFD and I thought why not try out this as well.
So, I attended one of the lectures organized by FFD. Halfway through Dr. Tripathi's lecture, I made up my mind and decided to join the Diabetes Reversal Program i.e. Holistic Transformation Program Batch.
I liked the session and thought that Dr. Tripathi has a very unique style of conducting the Diabetes Reversal program. It was a life-changing experience for me!
I started following the pure path of FFD & the results were mind-blowing. I was 84 kgs then. My waist was about 38.5". In 6 weeks,
I was free of all my medicines and haven’t taken any diabetes medicine since February 2018. For diabetes treatment, FFD uses a four-pronged approach of Diet, Exercise, Inner transformation, and Medical.
Following the FFD way, I lost 11 kgs in the process and became more fit. I started running marathons.
I had competed in 10kms marathons more than 25 times now and in 21kms - 5 times. At 62 yrs, I am known as the youngest one in my group.
Several Medals, Few Podiums, Lots of enjoyment & Happiness….. I am certainly living life fully now like I haven't lived in all these years. What a Freedom!
There are no restrictions on food except that I now know how to eat sensibly and to control my sugar levels. I eat sweets occasionally but in limited quantities and without guilt.
I am a source of inspiration to a few hundred. Just recently I participated in one of the toughest marathons in India which are held at Leh Ladakh!!
A 21kms marathon at Leh Ladakh!! Even the thought may make some people gasp. But I ran 21 km and have set a record of achievements for myself!
Now I enjoy my remaining life with Fitness, Fun, and Happiness and continue to provide motivation to all!!
