My Diabetes Story
I observed that I consumed excessive amounts of litchi juice, particularly during the summer. A few months after this habit developed, the rashes appeared, leading to my diabetes diagnosis in 2019.
Interestingly, there is no known family history of diabetes, neither from my paternal nor maternal side.
The major issues I faced were significant hair loss and recurrent skin rashes, similar to hives.
How was FFD introduced?
Concerned about my wellbeing my family sought effective solutions for diabetes management. They came across Freedom from Diabetes (FFD) through a friend’s brother who was already familiar with the program. Encouraged by another friend who had successfully become medicine-free through FFD despite being pre-diabetic, they decided to explore this path for me.

I never liked being on medicine. FFD was offering hope so I enrolled in its annual program HTP.

Reversal Story
The FFD team studied my case in detail and designed a tailor-made plan.
Sugars began falling in place and medicine stopped within two to three months.
My health transformation also included weight loss. Initially weighing around 65 kg, I shed 6 to 7 kilograms, bringing my weight down to approximately 59 kg. Since I was not overweight to begin with, most of the fat loss was concentrated in the abdominal region. I continue to work towards reducing my midsection fat as part of the ongoing wellness journey.
A crucial aspect of my transformation was adopting dietary and lifestyle changes. Previously, I consumed regular white rice and wheat chapatis. Under the FFD program, I transitioned to Khapli wheat, Kodo rice, Kutki, And other nutritious grains. I also adhered to a structured dietary proportion of 25% intake regulation, which played a key role in my improvement. Apart from diet, Lifestyle modifications such as better sleep patterns and regular exercise were incorporated into daily routine.
To stay active, I Engage in both strength training and yoga, Guided by expert trainers. My most remarkable achievement was becoming "Free From Diabetes Medication", Where as I previously consumed around 1000mg of diabetic medication daily. Now, I only take essential supplements like Vitamin D for general well-being.
The cherry on the cake has been that I cleared the IGT test with flying colors and aim to clear the GTT in the next attempt.
