My Diabetes Story
My diabetes was diagnosed during a routine medical checkup in March 2023. The news was quite surprising. Unlike many who experience immediate complications, I was fortunate that his condition was in the early stages, and I did not face any major health issues at the time. However, diabetes ran in my family—both my parents had suffered from it. Aware of the potential long-term consequences of the disease, I was motivated to take proactive steps to manage and eventually reverse his condition.
How was FFD discovered?
While searching for a solution to my health concerns, I came across Freedom from Diabetes (FFD) advertisements on YouTube and Facebook. The program's success stories caught my attention, and after learning more about its approach, I was convinced that it was worth trying.
What made me choose FFD?
My primary goal was clear—I wanted to reverse diabetes and free myself from lifelong dependence on medication.
FFD was offering hope so I enrolled in its annual program HTP.
Reversal Story
The FFD team studied my case in detail and designed a tailor-made plan. Within just 3 to 4 months of joining FFD, I successfully stopped taking diabetes medication. This achievement was significant, as it demonstrated the effectiveness of the program in enabling diabetes reversal when followed diligently.
My highest recorded HbA1c was 8.5, which was significantly above the normal range. However, after consistently following the FFD program, my HbA1c levels saw a dramatic improvement from 8.5 down to 5.7-5.9.
One of the additional benefits of this new lifestyle was weight loss. Initially, I shed around 3 to 4 kilograms as my body adjusted to the healthier routine. Over time, my weight stabilized, And my net weight loss settled at 2 kilograms.
Although this weight loss was moderate, it was a positive indicator of my body’s improved metabolism and overall health.
To maintain this progress and overall well-being, I incorporated yoga into my daily routine. Yoga became my primary form of exercise, helping me stay active and manage stress levels, which is a crucial aspect of diabetes control.
In addition to exercise, I made significant dietary changes. I followed the initial FFD protocols, which emphasized a low-carbohydrate diet. Reducing carb intake played a vital role in stabilizing my blood sugar levels and supporting my diabetes reversal journey.
The structured guidance provided by FFD, along with the support of experts played a crucial role in helping me achieve my goals.
