My Diabetes Story
In 1998, 26 years ago, I experienced several common symptoms like weight loss, frequent urination, and constant hunger. Blood tests confirmed I had diabetes.
Symptomatically, I often felt fatigued and lacked energy. I developed blood pressure issues in 1999 and high cholesterol in 2016.
My father and two of my siblings also had diabetes. By 2008, my doctor decided it was necessary to start insulin, so I began using it along with medications.
