Hello all,

I'm B R Ramdas, a Radiologist now shifted to Bengaluru after a 30-year career in Trichy. Presently, doing a part-time MRI and CT scan online reporting for the Trichy institution.

My diabetes story

Tests done for a urinary infection in 2000 disclosed I had diabetes.  For 10 years I managed with diet and exercise.  Medicines began in 2010. My uncles and aunts from my mother's side were diabetic. I also suffered from peripheral neuropathy.

How did FFD happen?

I came to know about FFD from a video talk by Dr. B. M. Hegde.

What made me choose FFD?

I wanted good control over my sugar levels. Saw hope in FFD. The introductory session by Dr.Pramod Tripathi led me to the idea that this would be a worthwhile and workable process. I enrolled in Freedom from Diabetes type 2 diabetes reversal program - HTP immediately.

My HTP 77 batch began in December 2021. I had no problem becoming a strict vegan. It took some time for me to learn things about technology but finally did it. My medication was stopped by May 2022.

I joined the gym after a lot of hesitation, but now the parameters are under control and manageable. I belong to the low BMI group  My weight has stabilized after losing about 4 kg.

My peripheral neuropathy problem has also improved a lot. The program has been well conceived with many positive features. I have certainly benefited from new perceptions of not only diabetes but also how to live a more fulfilled life.
