Good Health means a good balance of nutrition, exercise, and mental status. In these current times, it is very difficult to balance everything. FFD taught me a lot and I am in a better place now!
I am Gireesha Konamme, 58 years old, who works as an Additional Commissioner of Income Tax in Mysore. Working at a higher post also means lot of responsibilities.
I love my work but one cannot deny the professional stress involved. In addition to this, there is personal stress too. The only good thing in my case is there is no family history of diabetes on either side. Both my parents lived for over 85 years without any diabetes or hypertension.
In the year 1998, I suffered from thyrotoxicosis for which I took homeopathic treatment. At that time, my body also signaled me with the triad symptoms of diabetes - Excess Urination, Excess Thirst, Excess Hunger. I was put on medicines immediately.

Within a few years, by 2004, my doctor observed that my sugars were not behaving properly on medicines. So he put me on insulin. Even with insulin, my sugar was not coming under control. The extra dose led to hypoglycemia and less dose to hyperglycemia so much so that I had to be hospitalized several times.
Was on Ryzodeg 14 units in the morning and 10 units in the night with 1 tablet of Supradyn when I joined FFD. Learned about FFD through a WhatsApp video of Dr. B.M. Hegde and friends who are seniors in the FFD course.
Inspired, joined HTP batch 78 which started on 15th Jan 2022.In the beginning itself, we were introduced to the amazing FFD app. Explained sugar monitoring and updating the app were important. Discussed hypoglycemia and its management.
I fall in the low BMI category so had several difficulties doing exercises. FFD exercise experts suggested me to go with my pace and increase exercise slowly. They also gave me a good antigravity option to staircase exercise which was nitric oxide dump.
I was explained I need to be on insulin as my sugars keep fluctuating but thankfully my diabetes medicines have stopped. Now, my sugars are pretty well controlled and I am very happy about it.
Doing well, currently have no doubts, am self-motivated, and want to experience the benefits of this program.I really want to thank FFD and Dr. Pramod Tripathi for showing me a path to good health!
