My Diabetes Story


I was diagnosed with diabetes during a routine annual full-body checkup in 2005. With both my parents and grandparents also suffering from this condition, it felt like a part of my family history catching up with me. 

Last year, my health took a turn for the worse. I faced recurrent urinary tract infections that required hospitalization. Along with that, I experienced extreme fatigue, persistent body pains, tingling sensations in my feet, and noticeable weight gain.

Despite being on 40 units of insulin twice a day, along with oral medications, my fasting sugar levels remained around 220, and post-prandial levels hovered at 280. 

Looking back, I realize that the immense emotional toll of losing both my teenage son and my mother had a significant impact on my health, unknowingly exacerbating my condition.

How was FFD introduced?


Social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram were the means of introducing FFD to me.

What made me choose FFD?
